I grew up in the Northern California town of Lodi. I earned my BFA in Photography from Texas State University and my MFA in Photography and Integrated Media from Ohio University. I currently serve as Exhibitions and Programs Manager at Blue Star Contemporary. Prior to Blue Star I worked for various arts organizations and institutions with my experience ranging from exhibitions coordinating, to collections archiving and curatorial writing, to teaching undergraduate courses and working with refugee and at risk youth. In my artistic practice I discuss issues surrounding family and identity using a variety of subjects, through the revisiting and translating of memories. In my free time I enjoy going on long road trips with my husband Shea.
